12 STRONG

12 STRONG is a feature adaptation of Doug Stanton’s non-fiction book Horse Solders telling the story of the 12-man Special Forces team that was dropped into northern Afghanistan to meet up with an Afghan warlord and fight their way through the Taliban. 

I served as the show VFX Supervisor with Robert Weaver. Robert served on-set and as ILM’s supervisor, I was brought in during Post Production when the scope expanded significantly beyond the original ILM work. In the end I supervised and coordinated seven different vendors delivering 740 shots including our in-house team doing over 200 muzzle flash and bullet hit shots.
